About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with departmental standards, state regulations, and professional practice guidelines. As a key member of the healthcare team, the RRT will perform comprehensive respiratory assessments, administer therapeutic interventions, manage mechanical ventilation, and respond to emergency respiratory situations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Required
• NBRC Credential – Required
• Active Florida RRT License – Required
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care – Required
• BCLS within 30 days of hire
• ACLS within 30 days of hire
• PALS within 30 days of hire
• NRP within 60 days of hire
• Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience preferred
• CRT candidates may be considered; must currently hold RRT credential

Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure monitoring
• Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory therapy needs and treatment effectiveness
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Assist with artificial airway placement and management
• Initiate, monitor, and maintain invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation
• Monitor patient response to therapy and communicate unintended outcomes to providers
• Assist in transporting ventilator-dependent patients
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain airway integrity during resuscitation events
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
