This is an excellent opportunity to work across multiple high-acuity units in a supportive hospital environment. POSITION OVERVIEW The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services including diagnostic testing, therapeutic treatments, and ventilator management. This role supports ICU, ER, NICU, and inpatient units, delivering critical care interventions and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. SCHEDULE • Days or nights available with rotating weekends COMPENSATION • Hourly rate $24.93 to $33.59 based on experience • $15,000 sign-on bonus • Night differential $2.33/hr WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY • Exposure to ICU, ER, NICU, and specialty units • High-acuity patient population • Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration • Established hospital protocols and support structure • Career growth within a large hospital system

Requirements

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required (NBRC)
  • Active Florida Respiratory Therapist license required
  • 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
  • CRT candidates may be considered but must obtain RRT
  • Experience with ventilators and airway management preferred
  • BLS required
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP required within specified timeframes
  • Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures
  • Manage ventilators and airway support for critical patients
  • Respond to emergent airway situations and rapid response calls
  • Monitor and evaluate patient respiratory status
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing teams for care planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with protocols
