Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Right Choice/Internal Resource Pool (PRN)
About The Position
With Right Choice IRP, you have the flexibility to set your own schedule, allowing you to balance work with your personal commitments. Whether you prefer intermittent shifts without the limitations of a fixed schedule or are looking for longer-term assignments (6+ weeks) at long-term care facilities or hospitals, we offer options to suit your needs. Job Description: For those RTs who live within 50 miles from 1221 S. Gear Ave, West Burlington, IA 52655: Commitment 1: $45/hour Float to all 3 Great River Health hospital locations and/or long-term care facilities based on experience. Minimum of 24 hours in a 6-week scheduling period. An additional $5/hour is available if you work a long-term assignment of 6 or more weeks in duration We ask that you select one Summer and one Winter hard to fill shift as part of your commitment. You can select the hard to fill day and shift time that suits your availability, and you can adjust this as you see fit annually. For those RTs who live more than 50 miles from 1221 S. Gear Ave, West Burlington, IA 52655: Commitment 2: $55/hour Float to all 3 Great River Health hospital locations and/or long-term care facilities based on experience. Minimum of one long-term assignment (6 weeks or longer) every 4 months. Eligible shift differentials: o Evening differential: $1.40/hour (14:30 - 22:59) o Night differential: $1.60/hour (22:30 - 08:30) o Weekend differential: $1.00/hour (Friday @ 23:00 – Sunday @ 23:00) o Holiday Differential: 1.5x base rate of pay (2.0x base rate on Christmas)
Requirements
- 2 years experience as an RT
- Associate’s Degree (AA)
- Graduate of an CoARC approved Respiratory Therapist program.
- Liscensed by the State of Iowa as Respiratory Care and Polysomnography Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist Upon Hire
- Driver's License Upon Hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association within 90 Days
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 Days
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association within 90 Days
- Child Abuse Iowa Mandatory Reporter - Iowa Department of Human Services within 90 Days
- Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter - Iowa Department of Human Services within 90 Days
