About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Berlin, NH. This contract position involves working 3x12HR nights from 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, totaling 36 hours per week, starting on 5/18/2026. The role requires evaluating patient function, developing goal-specific treatment regimes, submitting written treatment plans, devising treatment schedules, and educating patients, families, and caregivers. The typical therapist-to-patient ratio is 1:5 or 1:6, with patients primarily from ED, Inpatient, and transport to tertiary care centers. The facility will accept RRT or CRT certifications. Local travelers (within 50 miles) will not be accepted. The dress code is scrubs (any color, no denim) with closed-toe shoes, and no perfume or cologne.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years current acute care experience is required
  • High degree of proficiency working with ventilators
  • HHN, BiPAP & CPAP experience is required
  • Active American Heart Association BLS is required
  • Active NBRC or CRT is required
  • New Hampshire State License is required; Compact Allowed
  • NH RCP Licensures. Will accept temporary. MUST be willing to apply for temp NH RCP at time of offer (7-14 day turnaround)
  • License verification is required
  • All licenses/certs must be current at time of submission
  • Permanent address must be included in submission file is required
  • RTO - must be included in submission. RTO submitted after offer may not be accommodated.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates the patient’s function by performing formal/informal testing measures to determine the skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
  • Develops a goal specific treatment regime based on assessment data and the patient’s tolerance to carry-out the treatment plan as prescribed.
  • Submits a written treatment regime to be included as part of the plan of treatment authorized by and coordinated with the physician.
  • Updates to plan of care as needed to reflect changes in patient status.
  • Co-signs verbal orders received by physical therapist assistant as necessary.
  • Devises a schedule of treatment, which is frequency and duration specific to be discussed with patient/family/caregiver and coordinated with clinical support staff.
  • Educates patient, family, and/or caregiver regarding pathology or condition, patient alternatives, prognosis, and rationale for treatment through forms of rest, exercise, modalities, and other indicated interventions.
