Requirements

  • Current Indiana license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
  • Graduation from a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program
  • Passing the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) registry exam within 6 months of hire date (waived if hire date is more than one year past graduation)
  • Healthcare Provider Certification
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP

Responsibilities

  • Participate in bedside rounds & be a patient advocate
  • Evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Collaborate with nurses, Advanced Respiratory Therapists, and Clinical Specialists to ensure total customer happiness and support
