About The Position

Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist I to join our team at the South Park FSED. This position is full-time and will require working night shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety. The role includes performing diagnostic tests, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the management of patients with respiratory conditions, utilizing your skills and knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to assist in patient assessment.
• Administer treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment options.
