About The Position

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist I to join our team. This position is full-time and will require working night shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in a variety of settings, ensuring the highest level of care and safety. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with respiratory issues. This role is critical in supporting the overall health and recovery of our patients.

Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients as per physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and response to therapy.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
