About The Position

Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist I to join our team. This position is part-time with variable shifts, providing an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on pediatric care. Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
• Experience with ventilators and other respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and response to therapy.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments.
