About The Position

POSITION INFORMATION Position summary: The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs respiratory in all settings within the Health Center. This includes aerosol therapy, airway clearance, and blood gas analysis, Endotracheal intubation, and ventilator management.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma and an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science with a major in respiratory care.
• Required length and type of experience: Clinical experience during respiratory care training.
• Required licensure, certification or registry: Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Must hold a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License issued by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
