About The Position

The Registered Representative (Wholesaler) is responsible for driving sales of the firm’s investment products through financial advisors, broker-dealers, RIAs, and other distribution partners. This role focuses on building strong advisor relationships, delivering product education, and generating new business within an assigned territory, while maintaining compliance with FINRA and other regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 required; additional state registrations as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of investment sales, wholesaling, or financial services experience.
  • Strong knowledge of alternative investments and private placements.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent presentation, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with both warehouse and independent broker-dealer channels.
  • Established advisor network in assigned territory.
  • Comfort using CRM and sales tracking tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors, broker-dealer reps, and other intermediaries to promote the firm’s investment products.
  • Conduct sales meetings, product presentations, and client events to drive product adoption.
  • Partner with internal wholesalers to maximize advisor coverage and sales opportunities.
  • Provide investment, product, and market updates in line with compliance guidelines.
  • Identify and cultivate new distribution opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate records of advisor interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, and compliance teams to ensure consistent messaging and adherence to regulations.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and sponsor meetings.
