About The Position
The Registered Radiologist Assistant plays a crucial role in enhancing patient care within radiology services, operating under the supervision of a radiologist. This position is responsible for determining the appropriateness of procedures, obtaining informed consent, and reviewing patient history. The assistant performs or assists in both noninvasive and invasive radiology procedures, evaluates images for diagnostic quality, and communicates findings to healthcare providers. The role also involves acting as a liaison among patients, technologists, and radiologists, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and health system policies.
