A Radiology Technologist is permitted to apply radiation to any part of the human anatomy for diagnostic purposes. This person performs radiographic procedures at the request of, and for the interpretation by, a licensed practitioner. These procedures include but are not limited to computed tomography (CT), the use of contrast media, and the use of fluoroscopic equipment. This employee is a vital member of the Radiology Department who works to meet the needs of customers/patients in the continuous pursuit of cost-effective and high-quality health care.
