About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of procedures requiring independent judgement and knowledgeable performance. This position will operate equipment safely producing quality images for diagnostic purposes and maintain equipment and supplies. Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and fellow staff. This position works under the supervision of the Manager and is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Requirements

• Completion of Radiologic Technology program required.
• AART(R) - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists required and Basic Life Support required within 90 days of hire.
• Two (2) Years Radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret a provider's instructions.
• Explain procedures to patients; verifies accuracy of patient information in the file.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Select imaging parameters.
• View images from an imaging session and keep records of the results.
• Other duties as assigned.
