About The Position

Performs complete polysomnography, including patient setup and scanning using a Sensor Medics system.

Requirements

• Graduate of AMA-approved school of polysomnography, registered polysomnography technician (RPsgT), BLS certified.
• At least one year experience in polysomnography, familiarity with Sensor Medics SomnoStar System, including set up, configuration, data acquisition, data transfer, scoring and report generation.
• Strong skills in sleep disorders, patient screening, scanning (including central apnea and hypopnea, obstructive apnea and hypopnea, ALS-level arrhythmia recognition, sleep staying, CPAP titration, BiPAP titration, O2 administration), use of various CPAP and BiPAP appliances, report validation and generation.
