The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Director of Sleep Services or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This includes in-center and out-of-center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care, and direct patient education. This role performs duties defined for a sleep technologist and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff, requiring credentialing in sleep technology.
