About The Position
The position involves conducting nocturnal polysomnograms, initiating nasal CPAP, conducting Multiple Sleep Latency Tests, and scoring all types of tests performed. The role requires setting up necessary equipment, discussing test procedures with patients, instructing on PAP therapy, and preparing patients for tests according to AASM standards. The individual will monitor patients during testing, troubleshoot equipment, and score polygraphic records for physician review. Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, assisting in training new personnel, and ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
