$5K SIGN-ON BONUS - Part-Time Nights, variable days of the week - 4 years Polysomn Tech experience required Additional Information: Performs routine and advanced Sleep Disorders procedures ensuring quality and clarity of recording along with detailed documentation. May assist in leading other team members. Communicates pertinent information to physician as needed. Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma
  • Respiratory - 4 years sleep laboratory performing polysomnograms
  • 1 of the following certifications is required
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP): (AR) - Arkansas State Medical Board
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT)
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)

Responsibilities

  • Consistently provides and promotes safe and effective complex patient care that addresses the age-specific variations related to clinical, educational, psychosocial and cultural needs.
  • Completes and assists with appropriate educational activities to maintain and increase competency, including all required hospital and departmental in-services, education, and training as assigned.
  • Facilitates and improves collaboration with other team members and departments in providing patient care across the continuum.
  • Maintains, creates, and promotes a clean and safe environment conducive to meeting customer needs and regulatory standards.
  • Provides feedback, reports, and initiates changes to improve patient care and/or the work environment. Promotes activities to improve quality of care.
  • Identifies and utlilizes available standards, literature and research findings to guide evidence-based practice and provide leadership in patient care and to the team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
