About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lakeview, OR. The role involves consulting with patients to understand their physical condition and symptoms, reviewing medical history and referrals, and diagnosing movement dysfunction. The therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, coach patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches, and utilize hands-on therapy for pain relief and healing. Responsibilities also include maintaining patient records, tracking progress, adapting treatment plans, and advising patients and their families on in-home treatment options and recovery expectations.

Requirements

  • Must have necessary requisites for licensures as a Physical Therapist by the Oregon State Board of Health
  • Current valid Oregon driver’s license required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Must have thorough knowledge of therapy procedures, current orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures, and rehabilitation practices
  • Must possess a positive attitude and utilize good communication skills
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required
  • Must be able to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science or master’s degree in physical therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms and review their medical history and referrals from doctors or surgeons
  • Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move about
  • Develop an individualized treatment plan
  • Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition
  • Use hands-on therapy such as massage to ease patients’ pain and provide stimulation to promote healing
  • Maintain patient records by tracking goals and progress while adapting treatment plans accordingly
  • Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process
