About The Position

Under the direction of a registered Physical Therapist, utilizes Physical Therapy skills to assist in treatment of all referred patients of all age populations, and is responsible for completion of all necessary documentation. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principals of growth and development and assess data reflective of the patients current status in relation to their age specific needs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program for Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Registered PTA, or eligible for license in the State of Georgia.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (new graduates are acceptable).

Responsibilities
