This Registered Pharmacy Technician position is for 40 hours per week on the evening shift. The role involves assisting in the preparation of irrigation, intravenous admixture solutions, and other items using aseptic technique, requiring repetitive hand motions. Duties also include filling unit dose, Automated Dispensing Machines (ADM), stock requisitions, and maintaining inventory levels in OR, Endo & OB. The technician will deliver unit dose, ADM refills, intravenous solutions, and necessary pharmaceutical supplies to nursing units, requiring walking and standing for the assigned shift. Other tasks include filling medication labels (subject to pharmacist check), preparing pre-packaged medications, assisting with inventory control, receiving and shelving supplies, performing cycle counts, reviewing stock for expired medications, and cleaning pharmacy equipment and work areas.
