About The Position

The Registered Pharmacy Technician at Rx To Go plays a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations by performing routine and non-routine tasks under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. The technician will be involved in various teams, including intake, adherence, revenue, and dispensing, ensuring efficient pharmacy services and accurate medication management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in specialty, retail, mail order, or hospital pharmacy required.
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license in the state of residence required.
• Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine pharmacy technician functions and activities.

• Document information accurately and professionally.
• Verify pharmacy insurance data and benefits for patients.
• Encourage therapy adherence and maintain accurate medication information.
• Process prescriptions for eligible patients and resolve billing issues with insurance companies.
• Dispense oral oncology medications under supervision, including counting, filling, and packaging.
