About The Position

Harris Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Pharmacy Technician to join the team as a floater, supporting various departments within the system. The Registered Pharmacy Technician will assist in preparing and dispensing prescribed medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring excellence in patient care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. The technician will adhere to all state, federal, organizational, and departmental regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Registered by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• PTCB Certification preferred.
• Proficiency in CRT, mathematics, and P.C. applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and dispensing prescribed medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Ensure excellence in patient care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.
