About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Allis Care Center involves providing quality nursing services to meet the needs of residents. The role includes performing essential nursing duties, ensuring proper resident care, and maintaining compliance with regulations. RNs will also supervise nursing personnel and assist in training new staff, while actively participating in care planning and documentation processes.

Requirements

• Graduate of nursing program.
• At least one year of related experience preferred.
• Licensed in appropriate state as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a long-term care setting.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Make daily rounds on assigned unit to observe and assess residents.
• Physically assess new admissions and residents for changes in condition.
• Ensure provision of resident care, including vital signs monitoring and medication administration.
• Assist with care plans to promote resident well-being and communicate care details.
• Train and develop staff by assisting with orientation and identifying learning needs.
• Maintain proper documentation of care and services delivered during shifts.
• Report relevant information to the Director of Nursing or designee.
• Participate in survey processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide for employee and resident safety, including monitoring staff compliance with safety protocols.
• Perform quality assessment and assurance functions.
