About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Emergency Department is designed for high-energy individuals who are committed to providing optimal patient care in a state-of-the-art facility. The department is staffed by Board Certified physicians and handles an average of 45,000 patients annually. This role offers competitive compensation based on experience and performance, with opportunities for shift differentials and holiday premiums.

Requirements

• Associate of Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients in acute care and rapid medical assessment rooms.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs as required.
