About The Position

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team to create a Plan of Care for patients.
• Audit residents' charts to ensure accurate documentation and treatment plans are established and followed according to physician orders.
• Oversee the nursing service department to ensure all nursing staff perform their work assignments in accordance with physician orders and patient needs.
• Inspect nursing services treatment areas daily to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure compliance with orders.
• Consult with attending physicians to record progress notes and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Follow established guidelines for the storage of drugs and biologicals.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information.
