About The Position
The position involves comprehensive nursing responsibilities including patient assessments, communication, problem solving, caring relationships, time management, leadership, and teaching. The nurse will incorporate appropriate assessment and intervention skills that are age-specific in all interactions and delivery of nursing care. This includes assessing patients' physical and psycho-social status, analyzing relevant data, and integrating assessment results into care planning, goals, and outcomes. The nurse will also provide therapeutic interventions based on continued assessment, prescribed orders, and input from other care providers, ensuring adequate pain management and safe medication administration.
