Our 200+ employees make up the teams at our 16 different East Tennessee locations. As a Registered Nurse, you will administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for our patients according to treatment plans ordered by our oncology and hematology providers.
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients during their treatment.
- Perform venipuncture and access ports for treatment administration.
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients.
- Stay current with infection treatments and serve as a resource for patients and clinical team members.
- Navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and adhere to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
- Communicate respectfully and promptly with team members.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Professional nursing degree required; BSN preferred.
- Tennessee State Nursing licensure required.
- Current BLS certification upon hire.
- At least one year of prior nursing experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Chemo-Immuno certification.
- OCN certification.
