About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Jessup Correctional Institution involves providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients. The role requires collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and adherence to the direction of the Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisor. The RN will address a variety of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients within the correctional facility.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
• Current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening.
• Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Prior nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients.
