About The Position

InGenesis is currently seeking Registered Nurse candidates to work with our client. In this role, you will primarily be assigned to work at HCPH clinics, mobile health units, and community centers throughout Harris County. Specific duties and specialties will depend on assignments.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas by the Texas Board of Nursing Examiners or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an outpatient clinical/medical setting
• Valid Texas driver's license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Nice To Haves

• Preferred bilingual skills in another language in addition to English (e.g., Spanish)
• Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and support clinic staff.
• Collect data, ensure quality, and order supplies.
• Adapt to changing work needs.
• Communicate effectively with staff, administration, and guardians.
• Delegate tasks and supervise LVNs and unlicensed personnel.
• Document nursing care and observations.
• Educate residents and their families about medications and treatments.
• Provide health information and literature.
• Use the Nursing Process to deliver patient care.
• Make sound decisions and report to the healthcare team.
• Provide ethical and confidential care.
• Focus on resident safety and needs.
• Perform nursing skills, diagnostic tests, and administer medications.
• Perform other assigned duties.
