About The Position

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a full-time Registered Nurse to join its Aesthetics & Wellness department in West Ames. Candidates should be patient-focused, detail-orientated, highly motivated, and have a strong interest in aesthetic and wellness care. This role works closely with the supervising physician to provide direct procedural care in a physician-led clinic. The RN will room and prepare patients for procedures, obtain and document accurate medical histories and medications, perform injectable treatments and laser or energy-based treatments under physician supervision, provide patient education on treatment plans and post-procedure care, monitor patients during and after procedures, document care in Epic EMR, maintain safety and injection control standards, support patient flow and clinic operations, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure efficient, high-quality care delivery. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
  • Possession of a State Registered Nurse license
  • Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
  • Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse
  • Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire
