About The Position
Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses to provide professional medical services at a correctional facility in Atlanta. The Registered Nurses will support the orderly operation of the institution by delivering clinical nursing care in accordance with facility standards and federal regulations. Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license
- Ability to meet federal correctional facility credentialing and clearance requirements
- Experience providing clinical nursing services in institutional or acute care settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with medical and correctional staff
- Comply with all federal privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements
- Utilize government -furnished equipment and systems as required
- Adhere to institutional safety and operational protocols
- Ensure continuity of care during the contract period
- Perform additional duties as assigned
