About The Position
We are seeking experienced Pediatric ICU Registered Nurses for night shift coverage in a high-acuity PICU. The ideal candidate must have strong pediatric critical care experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center and be confident managing complex cases independently.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of PICU experience
- Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center required
- Recent acute care experience within the past 2 years
- Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size/acuity
- Current New York State RN Registration
- BLS Certification (must be current and eligible for recertification)
Nice To Haves
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric critical care
- Perform detailed patient assessments in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Deliver care independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric critical care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
