RN- IMCU 30-bed unit providing care to high acuity care patients, including Cardiac and EP procedures Respiratory failure-CPAP, BiPAP Cardiac arrythmia management Sepsis, DKA Individualized, comprehensive 16-week orientation program which includes the Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO), ACLS certification and NIHSS certification for new nurses. Weekend Commitment Program FT (36 hours / weekend) 20% of employee's base rate Weekend shifts are defined as Friday from 1900 to Monday at 0700. Eligible for clinical ladder Eligible for shift differential NOT eligible for weekend differential as this is built into the weekend premium. PTO plan - up to 144 hours front-loaded in PTO bank to cover 4 weekends off per year. Holiday worked are requirement when holiday falls within the weekend commitment scheduled shifts. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
