About The Position
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and record vital signs and medical histories Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and other treatments safely and accurately Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals to plan and evaluate care Monitor and report patient status changes promptly and accurately Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety procedures (NYSDOH and Joint Commission standards) Participate in emergency response procedures (CPR, code situations) when necessary Document accurately in electronic health records (Epic, EHR, or facility -specific systems)
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required for hospital roles
- PALS or NRP – Preferred for pediatric or perinatal care areas
- RN license
- Minimum of 1 -3 years of recent experience in hospital, sub -acute, or long -term care settings
- ICU, Med/Surgical, OR, ER experience preferred
- New graduates may be considered for selected opportunities
