About The Position

A nonexempt position that provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices and works closely with physician to ensure quality care. This job description is intended to provide basic guidelines for meeting job requirements. Responsibilities, knowledge, skills, abilities, and working conditions may change as needs evolve.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program.
• Possession of current Alaska State Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Current ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination and testing of patients.
• Observes, records and reports patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
• Maintains and reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information.
• Charts test results, phone calls, & patient education in accordance with nursing standards.
• Maintains patient confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned by supervision
