About The Position
Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse (RN) to our Pre-Op and Post-Op unit at Reid Outpatient Surgery Center. This is a Full-Time Day shift opportunity with a commitment of 40 hours per week. Various shift times from 0530 to 1900. The shift is 10 hour per day on average, Will take late shift coverage Will take opening shift coverage As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Pre/Post-Op unit you will be reponsible for: Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case This is a fast paced peri-operative unit, specializing in PreOp and Phase 2 recovery. Requirements
- Associate's Degree - Nursing
- 2-3 years Emergency Department, ICU, Surgical Services Experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required

- Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
