About The Position

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents. Monitors vital signs, develops and updates resident care plans in support of treatment goals, Reviews residents’ charts for physician orders, progress notes and physical complaints. Performing other nursing procedures as directed. Because the Arkansas Health Center is a long-term nursing home facility the Registered Nurses generally work 12 hours shifts and rotating schedules. Registered Nurses (RNs) provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health programs. RNs assess patient health, develop care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical assessments and recognize changes in patient condition.
  • Proficiency in administering medications and treatments safely.
  • Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary care teams to plan and implement care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and comply with health regulations.
