As a Registered Nurse, you will administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for our patients according to treatment plans ordered by our oncology and hematology providers.

Requirements

  • Professional nursing degree
  • Tennessee State Nursing licensure
  • Current BLS certification upon hire
  • At least one year of prior nursing experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds or less
  • Manual dexterity and proper hand-eye coordination
  • Full range of motion to assist with lifting patients
  • Corrected vision and hearing to normal range

Nice To Haves

  • BSN degree
  • Chemo-Immuno certification
  • OCN certification

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for our patients according to treatment plans ordered by our oncology and hematology providers.
  • Provide education on treatment and emotional support to patients.
  • Perform venipuncture and access ports to administer treatment to patients.
  • Provide excellent customer service to meet patient needs and ensure comfort.
  • Serve as a resource for patients and clinical team members with in-depth knowledge of infection treatments.
  • Navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and other safety guidelines.
  • Communicate respectfully and promptly with team members to maintain quality patient care.
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed.
