About The Position

9A is a vibrant 24-bed neurological telemetry unit specializing in adult and geriatric inpatient care. As the designated Comprehensive Stroke Care Unit by The Joint Commission, 9A stands at the forefront of cutting-edge stroke management and neuro care. Our patient population includes those with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, transient ischemic attacks, encephalopathy, and other complex neurological conditions. This diversity offers nurses the opportunity to deepen their clinical expertise and sharpen their critical thinking skills every day. On 9A, nurses are empowered to master advanced clinical skills such as: Central line dressing changes, Foley catheter management, Dobhoff tube placement and care, Tracheostomy care, IV therapy and more. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
