TheRegistered Nurse - STATresponsibilities and skills: Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for critical patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards Supporting all units with rounding on patients, STEMI, Stroke and Code Blues Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team Care for patient needs throughout their recovery and following up with patients when downgraded from ICU Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient  Professional accountability and development Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled

Requirements

  • RN (Registered Nurse) License
  • Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
  • 2-year experience as an RN in an Acute Care setting
  • BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • 2-year experience in the ICU, Emergency Room or STAT RN in an Acute Care setting

Responsibilities

  • Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for critical patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
