About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to support a young woman with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a 1:1 community-based setting . This is a rewarding part-time opportunity for an RN who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in someone's life by providing consistent, person-centered care. You will play a key role in helping her achieve greater independence while ensuring her health and well-being in a supportive private home environment and within the larger community .

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's in Nursing).
Valid Rhode Island RN license required.
Proof of vaccination s in accordance with RIDOH guidelines.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess the individual's health status; communicate observations to supervisor and family.
Promote overall health and wellness through nursing best practices.
Foster open, respectful communication with the person supported and their family.
Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs.
Assist with community outings and daily activities.
Administer and track medications as prescribed.
Monitor and document seizure activity.
Accompany the individual to medical appointments as needed.
Attend all required state and agency trainings.
