About The Position
As a nurse at Cedarcrest, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day care of our residents. Your efforts ensure care is delivered with compassion, supplies are available, and each child’s successes are celebrated. Every day, your work will be both meaningful and rewarding. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Provide hands-on nursing care, supervise and support LNAs, administer medications, maintain nursing records, coordinate medical and rehab appointments, and manage admissions and discharges. Serve as charge nurse or med nurse as assigned.
Requirements
- Licensed in the State of New Hampshire as an RN or LPN.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with children with multiple disabilities and/or chronic health conditions is preferred.
- Nursing or LNA experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents and day students.
- Serve as liaison with physicians, pharmacies, audiologists, dentists, and other medical providers.
- Oversee programming and care delivered by nursing assistants.
- Maintain ongoing communication with families.
- Participate in meetings and perform administrative tasks in support of nursing operations.
