About The Position

As a Cardiology Nurse in a 32-bed progressive-care CCU at a Level I Tertiary care hospital, you will be responsible for treating a diverse patient population with a variety of heart-related conditions. The role involves providing care with state-of-the-art technology as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient & family-centered care. Cardiology RNs provide care for patients with structural heart problems, coronary stents, arrhythmia, congestive heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, ST-Elevation MI’s and non-ST-Elevation MI’s. This is a bargaining union position. The University of Vermont Medical Center aims to be a national model for high-quality academic health care in a rural region.
