About The Position

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full time RN to work in our Oncology Clinic.  We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of services.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of oncology RN experience (preferred)
• Degree from an accredited school of nursing (required)
• Current RN license in MI (required)
• Current BLS certification
• Current OCN, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification or equivalent (required within 6 months of hire date)
• Excellent computer skills/ability to quickly learn new applications.
• Professional demeanor and recognition of privacy and consideration for patient and families
• Interpersonal skills, supportive, active listener, and effective communicator

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Oversees the successful delivery of quality patient care.
• Develops and participates in educating patients, their families, and/or care partners about treatment and post discharge care.
• Collaborates with other nursing units in maintaining patient care standards utilizing evidence-based practice as applicable.
• All other job duties as assigned.
