About The Position
The Registered Nurse (PRN) will monitor and assist individuals' medication-related needs, work with an interdisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, community-based providers, and center staff to provide services outlined in the individual's treatment plan, and provide coordination of clients' needs as necessary. The PRN RN may provide nursing coverage at any of the Center's six (6) clinics, with travel expense reimbursement provided.
Requirements
- Current Texas Registered Nurse
- Five (5) years of full-time experience in mental health services
- Skills to problem solve and assess individual needs
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
- Ability to work effectively, as a team member in a fast-paced work setting
- Ability to plan, implement and prioritize assignments
- Ability to document electronically, accurately and timely with experience in electronic charting
- Current CPR certification
- Current Texas Driver's License
Nice To Haves
- Five (5) years' experience serving ACT population
- One (1) years' experience charting in Oracle's Millennium systems
- Bilingual skills to include Spanish/English
