About The Position

Registered Nurse – ProgressiveHealth HealthSpot, LLC-Onsite Occupational Health Clinic – Portland, TN We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team to support a major manufacturer in Portland, TN with an onsite health and wellness clinic for employees and their families. This position will support and collaborate with the Primary Care Physician on acute, primary, and family care along with health improvement services. What you will be doing: Provides First Aid treatment and follow up care to employees for work-related injuries. Performs pre-placement physical examinations. Orders and interprets laboratory and other diagnostic tests, including audiometry testing, and drug and alcohol screenings. Maintains pertinent records in timely and accurate manner for all patients per the proper electronic medical record or documentation source, including employer and OSHA regulated forms. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent for a Registered Nurse
  • The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
  • CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • Greater than one-year work experience, specifically in an occupational health setting
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
  • The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.).
