Requirements

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING: 1. Current and valid state RN License. 2. BLS upon hire and maintain current. 3. Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation required. 4. ACLS upon hire and maintain current. 5. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care required.
• Emergency Services - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING: 1. Current and valid NV RN License 2. Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care hospital ER required. 3. BCLS, ACLS upon hire and maintain current. 4. PALS upon hire and maintain current. 5. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, promptly identifying and responding to changes in patient condition.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status, diagnostic results, and response to treatment.
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure quality and continuity of care by adhering to facility policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
