Requirements

  • Active Maryland RN license

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in long-term care and assisted living settings
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders and facility protocols
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care and health status
  • Supervise and support LPNs, GNAs, and nursing support staff as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations
  • Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Respond to emergencies and advocate for resident safety and well-being
  • Promote resident dignity, rights, and person-centered care
