Requirements

Active Maryland RN license

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in long-term care and assisted living settings
Conduct comprehensive assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders and facility protocols
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR)
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team
Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care and health status
Supervise and support LPNs, GNAs, and nursing support staff as assigned
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations
Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
Respond to emergencies and advocate for resident safety and well-being
Promote resident dignity, rights, and person-centered care
