About The Position

We are currently searching for a Full Time RN for our location in Parkville, MD. The FT Overnight Schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11pm - 7:30am. Chesapeake Treatment Centers Inc., provides a comprehensive continuum of treatment for adolescents and young adults involved in sexualized behaviors, behavioral issues, and mental disabilities. We feature specialty services for adolescents. Clinical programs include assessment, residential/inpatient, day treatment, dual diagnosis, mental health, special education and prevention services. Our programs are accredited by the Joint Commission (JCAHO).

Requirements

• At least 21 Years of Age
• AA degree in Nursing
• 1 Year of experience
• Nurses must be licensed through the state of Maryland Department of Health and Hygiene.
• Good organizational and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Electronic Medical record keeping
• General nursing care to patients
• Demonstrates the ability to effectively assess and document the needs of patients
• Demonstrates appropriate and effective verbal communication with patients
• Responds effectively and appropriately in crisis
