About The Position
The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing the nursing process based on expanded knowledge and experience. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for providing age appropriate patient care to include the child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient which addresses biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and patient/family educational needs. The Registered Nurse provides critical care, which includes but is not limited to, continuous cardiac monitoring, emergency care management, continuous IV admixture infusion, ventilator management, invasive line management, and providing patient ADL's. Where You Will Work: Join our dynamic and collaborative Acute Care Unit, a 27-bed acute care environment specializing in the care of patients undergoing general medical/surgical treatment. Our team provides high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, supportive setting. This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. Primary Patient Population: General medical/surgical patients requiring acute care
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
